About Me

Project Manager and Event Coordinator with a passion for developing leaders and building communities.

After graduating from Winthrop University in 2015, I immediately took a role as a Leadership Consultant providing leadership development and programming to over 800 college men in the South East, USA. This bridged into a role as the Director of Alumni Engagement where I had the opportunity to plan large scale conferences, small community events, fundraisers, and manage multiple alumni programs all for a nonprofit organization.

I've since honed my analysis skills while working as a Data Analyst at Fannie Mae and have consistently pursued my passion for leadership and community growth by using my gained skills to provide positive impacts.

Projects and Events

Pi Kappa Phi Supreme Chapter

Pi Kappa Phi Supreme Chapter is a biennial conference for alumni and students alike of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity to meet. Hundreds of participants join the conference where entertainment events are held, official meetings take place, and reconnections happen.

My Role with Supreme Chapter:
- Sent mass email communications and newsletters with information on registration
- Organized the attendee list, including all special accommodations, rooming situations, and badges
- Planned and coordinated all meeting locations, including set up and take down of key items and seating
- Hosted the check-in and check-out procedures for the conference
- Managed all VIP attendees, including escorting to and from the airport as well as organizing their travel schedule
- Organized and scheduled a list of events to take place during the event

Day of Giving

Pi Kappa Phi's Day of Giving is an event held yearly on the anniversary of the organization's founding. It's a donation campaign to provide financial support to the educational and leadership programs.

My Role with Day of Giving:
- Helped to organize campaign events and marketing strategy
- Reached out to multiple alumni to solicit potential donations
- Organized a donation competition between undergraduate chapters to encourage student participation
- Planned multiple recognition posts for larger donations and from VIP contributors
- Provided thank you letters for the consideration of each donator

Revature Screening Analysis

The Revature Screening Analysis was a project put together by a team of seven individuals while in training for Revature's Business Intelligence track. It provided useful insights on Revature's screening and hiring process based on several different factors which they then used to influence their future screening and application processes.

My Role with the Revature Screening Analysis:
- Led a team of six other individuals, providing a project management board, assigned tasks, deadlines, and guidance
- Assisted in the ETL and clean data scrubbing of multiple sets of data to provide a holistic view of Revature's screening information
- Made visuals and graphs using PowerBI to easily demonstrate to non technical users the findings we discovered
- Created a PowerPoint presentation and led the facilitation of the presentation for my team to our business partners

Thirty Under 30

Thirty Under 30 is an award program hosted for alumni of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity that are under the age of 30 and have achieved significant accomplishments in their lives and careers. A panel of prestigious alumni join together to review all nominations of the award and 30 are selected to be presented with a physical award and to be featured in the Star and Lamp Magazine.

My Role with Thirty Under 30:
- Organized the full process, from nomination opening dates until closure and hand delivery of awards
- Partnered with the communications team to creation an email and social media advertisement campaign as well as a functioning nominations page for easy submission of nominations
- Brought together a team of prestigious alumni and coordinated meeting times for discussion of award nominees
- Created a set of criteria to judge each candidate on to give an unbiased and score-centric result
- Organized with the communications department a feature in the Star and Lamp Magazine to feature a blurb on all 30 winners on their accomplishments
- Designed and ordered 30 physical award plates and delivered them by hand to the recipients while taking each of them to lunch

Summer Alumni Reunion

The Summer Alumni Reunion is a biennial event held between years where the Supreme Chapter of PI Kappa Phi Fraternity does not take place. It is an event intended to bring together alumni of the organization for a fun and relaxing time to reconnect and build community.

My Role with the Summer Alumni Reunion:
- Planned from the ground up, including deciding on location of the conference and finding a hotel to host the conference at
- Researched and reserved event opportunities for alumni to participate in, including setting up a limited number of spots to be requested to ensure an adequate amount of space
- Managed all travel coordination and planning for VIP and staff members to ensure a seamless and smooth conference
- Organized and ran the check-in process upon arrival at the hotel
- Worked with the communications team to provide a marketing campaign for advertisement of the event and to design a pamphlet of information upon arrival to the event
- Planned a feedback campaign to take constructive criticism on how to improve future Summer Alumni Reunion experiences

Pi Kapp Connect

Pi Kapp Connect is a mentoring and career advice social platform website aimed at connecting alumni of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity with student and young alumni members to help give them career advice and build mentor/mentee relationships.

My Role with Pi Kapp Connect:
- Built the concept of the website from the ground up, including drafting out ideas of how the website should look and run
- Managed all communications and planning with the website host, Chronus, to ensure that all details were perfectly crafted and managed
- Provided trail run sessions for members and dummy accounts to ensure a seamless and smooth account creation process for members
- Organized an email and social media campaign to advertise the new platform upon launch
- Managed all aspects of the website upon launch, including membership applications and reviews, reports, and questions/support requests from members
